The fourth theme is efficient school administration. This includes reducing administrative overhead to increase resources for classrooms and potentially lessen the burden on taxpayers.
The fifth and last theme is student support and school environment. This includes strengthening civics, student support, and protections in schools (also covers sports and facilities).

Criticisms
James alleged election irregularities and questioned the legitimacy of aspects of the 2020 election, which the Michigan Democratic Party refuted as unsupported conspiracy theories. James said that he would pursue consequences for those he believes wronged Republicans in 2020 if elected governor.
Although James talks against China, James Group International, in which he is the president, has ties to China. According to the Michigan Democratic Party, James is profiting from that trade relationship.
